KENYA : Laiser Hill in Boys' Basketball Semi-Finals

The Rift Valley Secondary Schools boys' basketball defending champions Laiser Hill had an easy passage to the semi-finals of the Rift Valley championships at the Kericho Teachers Training College on Wednesday.

The champions made mince meat of Laikipia High School when they walloped them 89- 6 in the quarter's finals after leading 50-4 in the first half.
Bruce Ndikumana was the highest scorer for Laiser Hill with 22 points while his teammate Deng Gol contributed 18, the second highest individual score for the champions.
They will now battle it out with Mother of Apostles of Uasin Gishu who thrashed Keluani 52-19 to book a ticket to the semi finals.

Nakuru's representative, Menengai High, are also in the semi finals following their 42-25 victory over Osas of Narok South in the quarter finals and will play Weaver Bird of Trans Nzoia who beat Labornet 40-37 on their way to the semi finals.

Tough quarter final

In girl's category, Nakuru's Bahati Girl's also qualified for the semi finals with a 30-24 tough quarter final victory over Kapkloe of Nandi South. Monica Anyango of Bahati was the top scorer with 18 points to her credit.
Bahati will take on Manor House in the semi finals. Manor house thrashed Kaptagat 45-14 in the quarter final.

One sided match

Nasokol narrowly defeated Moi Girls Isinya 25-13 in the quarter finals to book a ticket to the semi finals and will meet Defending champion Laiser Hill who thrashed Masai Girls 51 -17 in one sided match.
