UGANDA : Two for FIBA heads meets
Basketball association president Ambrose Tashobya and executive member Yunus Nkutu will represent Uganda at the FIBA basketball heads of commissions and committees clinics from tomorrow to February 28 in Abidjan, Ivory Coast.
Tashobya will attend the heads of commissions' clinic in his capacity as Zone V Women and Youth basketball Commission boss while Nkutu travels as head of the Zone V coaches' committee. "Local associations like FUBA can only be recognised by FIBA (the world basketball governing body) if they attend their clinics," technical committee member Joseph Manano said.
