UGANDA : Splash Runs Out of Steam

Previously unbeaten Splash ran out of steam and succumbed to a 15-23 defeat at the hands of Yana Tyres as the Stanbic-KKL basketball season reached the halfway mark over the weekend.
Haruna Kazibwe rose to the ocassion for Yana Tyres with 12 points as Splash suffered its first defeat of the season in the Senior Boys category.
Red Bull were meanwhile swept away by Nike Seniors 28-2 in a one-sided game that witnessed swift-footed Christine Nakazibwe register a game-high 12 points.
Roofings won the other low-scoring game 9-4 against Sprite.
