UGANDA : Leopards Favourites for Women's Title

KCC Leopards are on the brink of winning their maiden women's national basketball title. A win in Game 3 will help Leopards wrap up the series against A1 Challenge at Lugogo today.
Leopards stepped up their title race with a 57 - 40 win to go 2 - 1 ahead in the best of five series on Sunday.
The Leopards came back after A1 had thrown the series open with a close 54 - 50 victory in Game 2 to leave their opponents reeling in the wake of a seventeen point defeat.
"We played as team," Leopards' star point guard Becky Akullo explained.
"No single player outscored the other, everyone contributed a fair share," she added.
The Leopards who had gone the entire season unbeaten were brought down to earth by Lady Bucks defeated them in the finals last year.
But Leopards brilliant form this year suggests they are firm favourites to claim the top award.
