UGANDA : Dominant Warriors face Knight Riders
Today at YMCA
Livingstone v Lubiri
Mak Sparks v Lakers
Crane High v Vegetarian
Sky Jammers v MBC Rocks
Amazon Rh. v A-1 Challenge
Warriors v Knight Riders
DESPITE a 56-57 loss to Charging Rhino last weekend, Knight Riders captain Collins Mukiza believes his team can recover in the remaining games.
They face second-placed Warriors at YMCA Wandegeya this evening (5 p.m.)
“I think we are playing well at the moment. Rhino were just lucky that most officiating decisions didn't go our way,” the fast-paced player said.
Mukiza injured his fingers in that game but vowed to play on whether in pain or not.
“The fingers are hurting me but I can't stop playing.
I must help out my team,” he said. Only promoted this season, the Entebbe based side could be relegated unless they pull up their socks in the remaining six games. And they begin today with an uphill task against Kyambogo Warriors, who are in demolition form.
Second Division giants Vegetarian have an outside chance of making play-offs if they beat on form Crane High School.
