ANGOLA : Angolans, Nigerians And Cameroonians, Unbeaten

Angola, Nigeria and Cameroon, winners of group A, C and D, respectively, are the only teams that remained unbeaten in the first phase of the ongoing African Basketball Championship (Afrobasket2007) for men, that has began to experience emotions of the quarter finals on Tuesday.

The teams mentioned made a total of six points, in three matches and equal number in every game, with Nigerians setting the best record in terms of defence, suffered only 163 points, but Angolans managed to reach "hundred" in every game, thus being the best performers with 317 points.

With these details, an exciting semi final is expected, between the best attack and best defence of the first phase. In order for that to happen, Angola have to beat Central African Republic in the quarter finals. Nigeria will be facing Cape Verde.Cameroon have to fight to overcome the semi finals in a game against Cote d' Ivoire.

Also on Tuesday the teams will start to fight for the ninth and 16th position in Benguela province.

The quarter finals will be played in Luanda.
