Falcons Invitational tournament

KIU held Charging Rhinos to just eight points in the final quarter en route to a 62-47 victory in the national basketball league over the weekend.

Elsewhere, the Falcons Invitational tournament starts tomorrow at the Lugogo Indoor stadium.
Foreign teams that will take part include former winners APR of Rwanda, New Stars (Burundi), CUCADE Bullets (Seychelles) and men’s champions Ulinzi.

The women teams are Les Gazeles ( Burundi ), Bel Air ( Seychelles ) and champions Sprite Storms.

The tournament is sponsored by Ethiopian Airways, Asiatic Sport, Mogas and Rwenzori.
