ZAMBIA’S Green Eagles basketball team were the first team to fall out of contention in the Falcons International after defeat by New Star of Burundi at Lugogo yesterday.
Bruce Ndikumana (37 points) short from outside the arc thrice in the last quarter while Blaise Mbonelane and Jerome Niyongabo shared 30 points as the Burundians made it to the last four.
The semi-finals are set for tomorrow.
