Basketball in Africa

Nigeria senior female national team, D'Tigress Friday night qualified for the grand finale of the basketball event of the 9th All Africa Games in Algiers, Algeria.

The Nigeria ladies coached by the the trio of Kevin Cook, Scott Nnaji defeated hard fighting Mozambique 57-46 in the second semi-finals.
The team will now play Senegal who defeated Angola 71-49 points Sunday for a repeat of the 2003 finals that involves the two side.

While Angola and Mozambique battle for the bronze today.
