NIGERIA : AAG: Egypt stop D'Tigers ambition
The Egyptian who top group-A defeated the Nigerians by 67-55 points in the first semi-finals played this evening.
This means Nigeria will now have to battle for the bronze medals against the loser of the second semi-finals between defending champion, Angola and Mali.
2003 silver medallist Senegal shows class as she shoved aside Angolan challenge in the women semi-finals with a 71-49 spanking to await the winner between Nigeria and Mozambique.
The semi-final battle between Nigeria women who the games defending gold medallist and Mozambique was still on as at the time of filling this report.
In some of the classification games decided today, Algeria defeated Cameroon 82-68 points while Cote D'Ivoire beat South Africa 81-56 points in the men category and in the women, Algeria beat Tunisia 66-56 and Kenya defeated DR Congo 65-64
