A disjointed Kenya fell 69-42 to Senegal in the final Group "B" at the Hydra Sports Centre to register their second consecutive win.

None of the girls got into the game and lacking drive and of intensity on a sultry Algeria morning.

Josephine Owino was the only Kenyan who got into double figures with a haul of 12 points. Gladys Wanyama, who has been hot these past few days was restricted to just eight points.

Aston Traore led the Senegal onslaught with 17 points while Adama Diakhati had 14.
"I think we were just tired. After falling behind in the first half we just couldn't recover," captain Angela Luchivya said after the match.
"We can play better. Sometimes you need to lose to get you act together. We will sit down and plan on our quarterfinals," she said.

Kenya were amongst the first teams to qualify for the quarters following wins against Tunisia, Mali and Senegal.

Four teams from each of the pools qualifiers for the last eight. The draw was due to be held last evening after conclusion of the preliminary round.

The all quarter-finals will be staged tomorrow, the semi-finals on Friday and the final on Sunday.
