ANGOLA : National Team Trashes Venezuela in Stankovic Cup
Angola's national team of basketball scored Sunday its second win in the Borislav Stankovic cup taking place in China, after beating Venezuela 94-54.
Angola led the score all along the match, winning the four periods of the game: 20-19, 23-15, 27-11 an 24-9.
In its opening match of Saturday, the Angolan team that is currently in preparation for the African Cup of Nations, in August this year, at home, beat New Zealand 67-55.
The African champion's next encounter will be on Tuesday midday (Angola's time) against Slovenia.
The FIBA Borislav Stankovic cup is designed for continental winners.
