WARRIORS eased to a 62-42 victory over Knight Riders to move to sixth position in the National Basketball league on Sunday.
Warriors rallied behind Steven Okias’ 18 points to overturn an 8-point first quarter deficit for a victory that moved them from seventh place.
The winners shot three 3-point shots and picked 16 defensive rebounds in building a 20 point lead through three quarters.
Warriors had a 36-12 edge in rebounds and went 9-for-12 shots at the foul line, including six in a row in the third and fourth quarters, to seal the win.
Meanwhile, UCU Ladies moved to the top of the women’s event with a 58-45 victory over MUK-Sparks at the YMCA.
Elsewhere, KCC ladies are in Nairobi for the East African Inter-Cities event.
