TANZANIA : Z`bar bans three basketballers

The Zanzibar Basketball Association has indefinitely banned three Beit el Ras players for attacking referee during their league match against Nyuki played earlier this week.
The isles basketball body has also imposed a 20,000/- fine on the club.
The association`s Secretary General, Abdularhman Mohammed Hassan, named the banned players as Nabil Said, Sudi Bwanga and Mustapha Ramadhani.
Hassan said yesterday that the association also banned two Nyuki players -Mohammed Amour and Abbas Hussein- from participating in the remaining league matches.
The body has also fine the two players 15,000/- each while their coach Abdi Babu has been fined 20,000/-.
