UGANDA : Schools Converge for All-Stars Basketball

TOP schools are set to clash as the National Schools Basketball Association All-Stars schools tournament that gets underway at Seeta High over the weekend.
The two-day action is the first on the schools' calendar and will feature the top ten girls and boys sides as selected by the association's technical committee.Committee chairperson Edmund Lumu said the schools that have been invited were chosen according to their performance at the national championships last year."Many new schools have come up and have put up a strong challenge to the traditional giants. We expect the best ever and a competitive tournament this time," Lumu said.

Kabojja Secondary School and Kibuli SS go to the tournament as boys and girls champions respectively.
Others include girls' record winners Nabisunsa and Kampala regional kings Crane High School.
