UGANDA : ISU Win Bronze At Regional International Schools Basketball

INTERNATIONAL School of Uganda girls' team won bronze in the International Schools of Southern and Eastern Africa Basketball championships.
The International School of Kenya hosted the three-day championship that ended over the weekend and attracted 12 teams.Ethiopia's International Community School won the girl's event while South Africa's American International School of Johannesburg triumphed in the boys' category. They were both the defending champions.
In the third place play-off, Iddy Farmer shot a game-high 15 points and teammate Louise Oyee added 10 points for Robert Ndamagye's ISU that raced to a 32-25 victory over International school of Tanganyika and a third-place finish.The girl's final saw ICS beat the hosts 37-30 to retain the title they won in 2006 in Zimbabwe.
AISJ won their second successive title after a 57-41 defeat of IST in the boys final.
Farmer, Oyee and Daniel Tchinguengue were named on the 2007 ISSEA All-star team.
