NIGERIA : Nigeria Kids Storm Paris - World School Tourney

Nigeria will feature at the forthcoming World School Basketball Championship slated for April 8-15 in Paris, France.
Disclosing this to Sports Champion in Lagos, President, Nigeria School Sports Federation (NSSF), Dr. Thomas Adeleke hinted that winners of the 2006 edition of Nestle Milo Secondary School Championship in the boys and girls categories, Sheikh Abubarkar Gumi College, Kaduna and Queen of Rosary College, Gboko, Benue respectively have been registered to participate at the World Championship.According to The NSSF boss, the championship will afford the Nigerian kids opportunity to further develop their skills and gain necessary exposure.
"We have registered the winners of the last edition of the Milo school championship for the World School Championship in Paris," he informed."By this gesture, we believe the World Championship will expose the players and sharpen their skills towards the development of the game in the country," he added.
Adeleke, however urged the state governors of the representatives teams to give support to the federations towards making the dream of the players a reality.
"We can only appealed to states governors of these schools to come to the aid of the federation in making the trip a reality, equally our doors is open to sponsors that are willing to ensure the growth of basketball," he said.
