GAMBIA : Basketball Knock-Out Final

Wallidan male basketball team will lock horn with Young Men Christian Association (YMCA) on Saturday in the national basketball knock-out final.
Organised by the Gambia Basketball Federation, the final is slated for Saturday, March 24 at the Manneh Sillah Memorial Lawn with the kick-off scheduled at 9.00pm.Wallidan are eyeing their third title in the basketball league season having earlier won the super cup title and of recent, the national league title.
However, basketball fans are of the belief that YMCA side, who beat Brikama to proceed to the knockout final, cannot be underrated as evident in their stellar performance in the league season.
The same day will witness the knockout final in the female category. Just like the male team, Wallidan female team are also dominating the female category. As current league title holders, Wallidan female team will play in the final on Saturday, the winner in the Dingareh-Old Hand semi-final match.
