In the men's final, USIU Tigers mauled Kenya College of Accountancy-KCA 48-24 after holding them scoreless in the last quarter. The game tipped on a promising note, as the teams traded baskets as both end to tie 10-10 after the first quarter. However, things fell apart for KCA come the second quarter as Tigers ran wild going on a 12-0 run early in the quarter, taking a 22-10 lead through Abel Nson, Rocky Otieno, Victor Odendo and Harrison Omondi, prompting KCA coach to call for a time out. On resumption, Tigers maintained their form, going up 42-24 in the third quarter, as KCA struggled to stay afloat through Imba Daniel, Arnold Muoki, and Sinda. Nson had 9, Odhiambo 8 for tigers, While Imba and Muoki combined for 12 points for KCA.
