ANGOLA : Ladies Play Mozambicans Eyeing African Cup

Angola's senior ladies basketball team starts competing Monday in the Zone VI Tournament that qualifies to the Pan-African Games (Algeria) and to the African Nations Cup (Senegal), by facing Mozambique in the opening round.
The competition being held in Harare (Zimbabwe) ends on March 03 and qualifies the top seeds in both groups.National coach, Anibal Moreira said the Angolans' line-up should start with Irene Guerreiro, Astrida Vicente, Dumitila Ventura, Luisa Macuto and Jaqueline Francisco.
Angolan has already qualified for both competitions in the males' category.
The tournament happens in a system of all against all in one leg. Angola that has already qualified for the Pan-African Games only fights to qualify for the African Nations Cup.
