ANGOLA : American Athlete On Trial in 1º De Agosto
The North American basketball player Lamar Rice, who is in Luanda since, is playing for 1º de Agosto's senior team on a trial basis, coach Jaime Covilhã has informed.
Speaking to ANGOP, Jaime Covilhã explained that the athlete will be on a ten-day trial."He is interested in playing in Angola and we want to reinforce our team. If we like him we will sign him", he stressed, without giving any more details.
The 24 year-old Lamar played in 2006 for Lausanne Morges of the Swiss first division.
