KENYA : High School | St Austins, St Georges Claim NSSSA 3 rd Edition Titles



St Austins Academy- Nairobi and St Georges Girls Secondary School claimed the winners' titles of the 3 rd edition of the Nairobi Secondary School Sports Association (NSSSA) Term 1 Basketball tournament. St Austins Academy, former high School basketball champions, won all their games, including a “Pay-Back” 62-45 win over Nairobi Jaffery's Academy …who eliminated them last year at the semi final stages of the NSSSA Schools League. The girl's finals saw Defending champions St Georges Secondary School edge out Moi girls Nairobi 49-41 I an entertaining encounter. David Ogolla of St. Austins Academy and Grace Kendi of St. George's were named the events Most Valuable Players.There were a total number of 24school teams' boys being 16 and girls 8school teams.

Boys had Quarter final as follows;-

2. Highway 23 Vs St. Austin 41
3. Nairobi Jafferys Vs Dagoretti Boys Walkover Dagoretti didn't show up.
4. Light Acdemy 23 Vs Hillcrest 24
