UGANDA Christian University continues its league promotion campaign when the Yello Go conference playoffs throw off today at YMCA.
The UCU team, which is yet to lose a match this season, goes up against Makerere Youth Heaters in game one of their best-of-three playoff series
“It would be a shame to lose at this stage after finishing the regular season unbeaten. So we are going all out to avoid a loss and also make it to the finals,” team player Robert Mugabe said.
The Mukono-based players are counting on all their years of experience to make the difference in their playoff semi-finals battle against Youth Heaters.
UCU’s much-travelled duo of brothers Mugabe and Geoffrey Omondi, formerly with Mombasa Combined and Charging Rhinos, will lead the onslaught.
