UGANDA : A-I Challenge to battle KCC Leopards

FRANCES Nabulobi and former Most Valuable Player (MVP) Flavia Oketcho combined for 25 points to help record winners Lady Bucks defeat defending champions A-1 Challenge 40-27 in an MTN Basketball League game played at YMCA Courts .
A-1 looked the better side at the beginning with their man-to-man defence that caused trouble to Bucks, who failed to score in the first 9 minutes.
Bucks however turned tables, winning the second quarter 12-07, third 11-06 and killed off the game 15-10 in the fourth quarter. The result means that A-1 finished the regular season in fourth position and will face table leaders KCC Leopards in the semi-final play-off series, with game one to be played on October 9. Lady Bucks face KIU Rangers in the other semi-final.
