SEYCHELLES : Men’s division 1B - EX-Champs clinch third spot by walk-over
EX-CHAMPS clinched the third position in the Men’s division 1B category of the Top-of-the-table tournament following their walk-over win against Pointe Larue Falcons on Wednesday at Victoria Gymnasium.
Promoted to play in the Men’s division 1A after winning the Men’s division 1B league championship, Falcons could not put together a starting five for Wednesday’s match, a situation which might bring some doubts about their participation in the top flight next season.
Such a situation, if it is repeated, could contribute towards the degradation of the game of basketball as it has been the case with other sports here.
Meanwhile, the three finals of the Top-of-the-table tournament will be played tomorrow at the Palais des Sports.
