KENYA : Champs Ulinzi and KPA Top Seeds
Champions Ulinzi Warriors and Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) are the top seeds as the stage is set for the 2006 Play Offs.
Following the draws released on Wednesday by Kenya Basketball Federation (KBF) competitions secretary, Steve Nyakina, unbeaten Ulinzi will battle it out with fourth seeds, KCB Lions.
Former four-time champions, Co-operative Bank, are pitted against United States International University (Usiu). A shooting contest between two of the deadliest marksmen in the show - Usiu's Abel Nson and Co-op's Cliff Ochieng -- can be expected.
In the women's category, KPA, who lost only their first game 53-46 to Telkom last week, meet Yana Milele in what should be an easy win for the porters.
Telkom will take on former East and Central Africa Club champions, Sprite Storms.
Angela Luchivya's team must go full throttle to stop a star studded Telkom side. Kisumu Lakeside, who topped the lower division in their debut, will start off at home against Mennonites, while Strathmore University play Java Warriors.
