NIGERIA: Stallion Boys Target Shield
As date for the 2006/2007 Basketball Premier League draws near, Union Bank Team Manager Rotimi Salvage has expressed confidence n the Stallion Boys to return to their winning ways.
Speaking on the tems reparation for the new season in a cht with Sports Champion, Salvage hinted that all hands are on deck to correct the lapses noticed in the club during the last season.
It would be recalled that Union Bank failed in their bid to defend the lasy years' title won during the 2005 Abridged League season in Abuja.
Salvage confirmed that the management has resolved to transform the team and reclaim its rightful top position among clubs in the country."We have put result of the last season behind us and we are ready to claim the top position which the team is noted for when the new season begins" he said.
He informed that the team will regroup later in the month with an open screening camp to scout for players that will fly the team's flag for the new season."The team will resume for camping that will involve new players that will go through screening exercise to select players for the season"
