UGANDA : Warriors Fall

ANCETTE Wafula's 27 points helped Kenya's Ulinzi basketball club secure a semi-final place with a 85-64 victory over Kyambogo Warriors in the Falcons Invitational tournament at Lugogo.
Richard Osano added 20 points in Ulinzi's 21-point victory that saw them maintain top place in Pool B, to set up a semi-final date with Uganda's Nkumba-Marines.
In the women's contest, Kenya's Sprite erased a 10-point first-quarter deficit to surge past Uganda's MUK-Sparks 65-40.
Meanwhile, KCC Leopards became the second team to pull out of the tournament after defending champions Lady Bucks, because their appeal was not honoured.
