CHARGING Rhinos’coach Mr. Mike Mailboux has resigned his job and left the club indefinitely. Mailoux joined the 1997 league champions mid last season, taking over from then Robert Ndamagye.
The American born coach left at the end of the MTN league round one and did not hand in a written resignation letter but sent an SMS to team captain Rodgers Sserunyigo.
"He sent me a message expressing his dissatisfaction with the conditions at the club and I showed it to the managers," Sserunyigo said.
However, an insider from the league giants' camp told Daily Monitor that Mailoux had a direct grudge with players David Kiberu, Hamza Nyambogo and Sserunyigo which propelled him to step down.
The players have been questioning his tactics after failing to lead them to the play- offs.
