MTN league title contenders Sadolin Power kept their play offs aspirations alive with a 79-73 win over Miracle on Sunday at the YMCA courts.
The 2000 champions needed a third quarter double three- pointers from Allan Tawodda and captain Marvin Keronga to take a 15 point lead after the Lubaga side had kept the game too close.
Even when Raymond Bukenya regained his shooting form from out side the arc in the last quarter, off bench star Alex Kasindwa extended Power's lead to 8 points with three minutes left.
Tawodda made 25 points, while Keronga and Richard Balemwa contributed 11 apiece to keep their side's chase on Falcons and Marines. Warriors also kept their quest for play- offs insight after stopping Livingstone 82-55.
In the women division, defending champions A-I Challenge beat Makerere Cubs 97-25. Ali Mavita, Josephine Namayega, Liz Kizza and Viola Akuma were in good scoring form for A-1 Challenge.
