AFTER an impressive show at the regional Falcons tournament last week, Miracle basketball club shift their focus to the MTN league with a date against Sadolin Power today.

The Lubaga based side will be out to avenge the 83-60 first round loss to the 2000 champions as well as avoid a likely relegation to the lower Yello Go conference.

Ben Komakech (knee), Raymond Bukenya, Richard Aciko (ankle) and Chris Kyebambe passed late fitness tests yesterday after picking injuries in the Lugogo event.

" We have them back and shall try to get the points from Power although the federation informed us late," Kyebambe told Sunday Monitor.

Third placed Power have Ken Balyejusa likely to return while Wilbrod Okecho whose 23 points sunk their opponents in the first round will be available to keep last year's finalists in contention for the last four spots.

Out of sorts women defending champions A-I also hope to recover from a shocking 37-46 loss to Makerere Sparks two weeks ago and take care of Makerere Cubs.

Meanwhile, the federation has implemented a new rule where teams that were walked over in the first round still lose in round two. Najja High, Kabojja, Kyambogo Comets and SPENA are the victims.
