UGANDA : KIU face A-1 in titanic tie
By ALOYSIUS BYAMUKAMA
Kampala
Men
FPAU v KCC Lions
Kabojja v Berkeley
Najja High v Warriors
Bush Courts v Jackets
Livinstone v Marines
Women
A-1 Challenge v KIU
MTN women league champions A-I Challenge take on Kampala International University Rangers in a hot fixture at YMCA courts.
The last time the two rivals met, it was Nimrod Kaboha's side had a last smile after a last minute three pointer by Aisha Nalumansi propelled them to a 49-46 win.
A-I went further to lose to Lady Bucks and KCC Leopards before a stunning 46-36 loss to Makerere Sparks at the beginning of the second round.
They have only this time to squeeze for a win and regain their aspirations for the play offs.
Both have 20 points but Rangers are ahead in fourth place because of the head on rules and have a game at hand. KIU are vying for their first play off slot at their second attempt in the league.
In the men's Yello Max conference, Marines will take on high scoring Livingstone, while the defending champions will be out to extend the pressure on Falcons. Several other men’s games will be on card.
