SHOOTING-GUARD Ancette Wafula destroyed Falcons’ defence to inspire Kenya’s Ulinzi Warriors to victory in the Falcons Invitational final at Lugogo on Sunday.

Wafula scored 16 of his 22 points in the first half as unbeaten Ulinzi Warriors got a crushing 87-61 victory.

Men’s Most Valuable Player (MVP) Peter Odendo added 15 points including three slam dunks.

The women’s final saw Kenya’s Sprite Storms give Burundi’s Berco Stars quite a jolt with a 66-49 rout. Evelyn Kedogo scored 15 points and MVP Hilda Luvandwa added 12 .

Meanwhile, Norman Blick scored 30 points as Nkumba-Marines clinched third place with a 100-68 victory over Miracle
