FALCONS have registered a dozen unbeaten runs, the highest in the local basketball league history, but today they face one of the biggest battles against KIU.
The record league winners take on Kampala International University in an anticipated tough fixture at YMCA. KIU fresh from a 44-40 loss to Rhino last weekend will be all out to try and stop the title hopefuls inorder to avoid another possible relegation.
The Kansanga based side is danger having collected 18 points from 12 games, just above Gulu Hawks, Livingstone and Najja High.
Star players Isaac Afidra, Jeff Mwinuki and Emma Baguma should find way of stopping rampant Henry Malinga, Sam Obol and Loui Habineza if they are to get maximum points.
However, Steven Omony's Falcons who are likely to miss the services of Eric Malinga, will be aiming at keeping an upright tally and keep the top spot on the Yello Max table.
In the Yello Go conference, on form Vegetarians take on Makerere Youth Heaters with an intention of keeping close to the play offs, while Makerere Cubs meet Amazon Rhino in the only women's game of the day.
