Basketball United Generation has a hectic weekend ahead with two vital clashes against ESPOIR and Marine in the second half of the 2006 National Basketball League.
BUG start their weekend action today 11:00am at Rafiiki tussling it out with the mighty ESPOIR side who have finally found their right footing after a fatigued 2005 National Basketball League season.
The formerly dubbed KCBC side is desperate to return to its winning ways that it exhibited early this year when they host Gisenyi based Marine at Lycee De Kigali tomorrow (Sunday).
Marine head into the Sunday clash trying to get something out of this game to narrow the gap with the hosts (BUG) who are seated in fourth place on the league table.
BUG who lost their winning form following persistent injuries for some of their top players believe they can turn things round now that their key players are back on court.
“The entire BUG camp is in upbeat mood following the return of its key players,” BUG’s head coach Jean De Dieu Nizeyimana.
