ANGOLA : National Team Defeat Qatar
The Angolan senior male basketball team defeated Qatar Thursday 88-57, in the second round match of the international tournament that is taking place in that Middle-East country, as part of the preparation training for the World Basketball Championship, set for Japan, in August.
The basketball team play again this Friday against the Philippines, for the third and last round of the competition.
The World Basketball Championship starts on 19 August and ends September 3, Angola will play against New Zealand, Germany, Spain, Panama and Japan on the first phase.
