ANGOLA : Country Pleased With Team's Performance Against Spain
Angolan fans showed their satisfaction with the performance of the country's senior males team at the World Basketball Cup in Japan, after the African champions lost by 93-83 against the Spaniards.
After three consecutive victories, the Angolan team suffered their first defeat, despite the loss, the players, technical team and supporters showed confidence for the upcoming challenges and satisfied with attitude presented this Wednesday against the European team.Despite the defeat, everyone interviewed by ANGOP, was unanimous in affirming that the exhibition and attitude of the players on the court is helping the team to focus on results differently.
For André Nzuzi, sports journalist, the team played relaxed even without any NBA star, "we showed that we went to the competition to compete and not to participate".
