ANGOLA : Angolans Win Tournament of Qatar
Angola national senior male basketball team won on Sunday the tournament of Qatar, preparatory for the Japan World Cup, after winning their opponents of Leetonia by 83-77, in the final that took place in Doha.
Eduardo Mingas with 24 points was the best scorer of the Angolan team, who are the African champions and representatives of the continent to the Japan World Cup that will take place from 19 August to 03 September, 2006.
On Monday, the National team will go to Singapore en route to Tokyo, where they expect to carry out their last trainings before the start of the event.
