ANGOLA : Angola Beat Guinea Conakry in African Juniors Championships
Angola's junior males basketball team defeated on Tuesday at Durban pavilion (South Africa), its counterpart of Guinea Conakry, by 51-47, in a third round match of the African Championships being played since last weekend.
By half time, the Angolan players coached by Manuel Sousa "Necas" were ahead by a three-point difference (22-19).
With this victory, the second in three matches, Angola strengthens the possibility of moving into the next stage.
Angolan player Francisco Luano was the best shooter of the encounter with 13 points.
Angola plays this Wednesday afternoon against Cote d'Ivoire.
