UGANDA : FUBA calls off second round league action

THE Federation of Uganda Basketball Associations (FUBA) has postponed all the second round league games that were to be played this weekend at various courts.
Federation technical man Mr. Edmund Lumu confirmed yesterday that the games would not be played.
"We are unable to start then second round this weekend because of unavoidable circumstances and we are yet to meet and fix a tentative date,” Lumu said.
However, MTN Public Relations Officer Ms. Tina Byaruhanga told Daily Monitor that the postponement comes because MTN and FUBA are still sorting out some contractual matters.
