FORMER league champions Falcons Athletics return to the courts for their MTN basketball league second round opener against Livingstone at YMCA today.
The five time title winners finished the first round on top of the Yello Max table with 8 unbeaten runs for 17 points from 9 games.
A win today will ensure Steven Omony's men regain their top slot from defending champions Marines whose win over Miracle last weekend gave them a one point lead.
Falcons also will use it as a build up for their Invitational tournament that tips off on Tuesday at Lugogo.
Relegation troubled Livingstone have been boosted with the return of reliable forward Martin Okello who has been working in Kigali, Rwanda.
Okello together with Simon Otine and Pascal Alule will give Falcons an athletic evening at the Wandegeya courts. The Makerere side remains the only team that has forced all league giants into high scoring games in the league.
In the other games, Yello Go table leaders UCU Mukono play MBC Rocks while KCC Lions face Kyambogo Flippers at Makerere pool court.
Kampala International University (KIU) Rangers return against Makerere Cubs, while Nabisunsa face Comets .
