SEYCHELLES : Omony voted All-Star MVP in Uganda
HIS future with PLS Hawks is not too clear but since he left for his homeland Uganda in April, all-rounder Stephen Omony has not returned.
A spokesperson for defending League and SBF Cup champions PLS Hawks told Sports Nation that “Omony is in Uganda to take care of some family business and he has told us that he will return to play for PLS Hawks.”
What is certain is that Omony remains active while back home as he participated in an All-Star match last weekend.

Omony was voted the MTN All-Star Most Valuable Player (MVP) after last weekend’s All-Star gala at the YMCA courts in Kampala.
With 30 points, four dunks, 12 boards and five assists, Omony led his East team to an 82-65 victory over the West team.
Omony, a 6ft 3in forward, was playing in his first-ever All-Star skills showcase and he teamed up with Sam Obol, Louis Habineza (Falcons), Norman Blick, Ali Mzee (Nkumba-Marines) and Pascal Alule (Livingstone) on the East team.
Speaking to the Ugandan press, Omony said: “Being nominated to my first All-Star team appearance was a surprise, but the fact that I was later voted 2006 All-star MVP, has been a humbling experience.”
It must be noted that Omony joined PLS Hawks in 2001 from Ugandan side Falcons.
