MTN basketball league men's defending champions Nkumba University Marines take on Kyambogo Warriors in what promises to be a thriller at the YMCA courts this evening.
The Kyambogo based Warriors have established them selves as capable title challengers, following a remarkable improvement in the top-flight Yello Max campaign.
They for the first reached the play offs last season and with the likes of Brian Gumisiriza, Brian Rugyendo, Ambrose Tashobya, Ronnie Kaseu and reining league's top marksman Steven Okias, the side has shown their need for more by taming title hopefuls Sadolin Power 73-65 last weekend.
However, the Entebbe side aims at winning the game to go top of the Yello Max table. They have been boosted by the return of MVP Norman Blick (pictured above) whose combination with new signing Salim Ali will be a menace for Warriors.
Former champions Falcons take on Najja High, while Blue Jackets and promoted Vegetarians meet in the Yello Go conference.
In the women's category, title hopefuls Kampala City Council (KCC) Leopards take on debutants Kyambogo University Comets as former champions Lady Bucks return against Crane High-Kitintare. Action in the MTn League continues tomorrow.
