MARVIN Keronga’s big 3-pointer with 45 seconds left helped Sadolin Power edge KIU 78-76 in an MTN basketball league match on Saturday.

Keronga scored nine of his 12 points in the fourth quarter as Power posted their sixth win in eight games and went top of the Yello Max conference table.

The battle saw Power struggle in the fourth quarter, falling behind by six points before Isaac Katumba and Allan Tawodda nailed jumpers and Keronga sunk the killer shot to give the blue-outfit team the win.

Isaac Afidra scored 21 points and Mwinuka added 18 for KIU who had a three-game winning streak snapped.

In the women’s game, Frances Nabulobi’s 27 points gave Lady Bucks a 92-38 over MUK-Cubs.
