FORMER MTN league champions Falcons take on rivals Sadolin Power in an anticipated big clash in the MTN Yello Max round one encounter at YMCA courts.
The two giants meet with fresh memories of Power's 2-0 win over their rivals in last season’s best of three semi- final series.
The record winners have recorded seven straight wins since losing to defending champions Nkumba Marines in the opener in April and currently top the table with 15 points and a better goal average.
However, the 2000 champions will be out to avoid a third loss of the season but a meagre average still settles them behind Warriors and Marines.
Marines take on Livingstone, while Kampala International University (KIU) play Najja in a do or die tie.
In the women’s category, defending champions A-1 Challenge will be out to avenge their 46-49 loss to KIU Rangers last Wednesday when they meet unbeaten Kampala City Council (KCC) Leopards in a tricky women's game.
The mayor's ladies boast of a big bench with Agatha Balidawa, Becky Akullo, Miriam Hamala, Linda Tamale and Monica Siima.
However, A-I who has collected 14 points from eight games will rely on Elizabeth Kiiza, Josephine Namayega, Viola Akuma, Betty Namukasa and Ali Mavita to contain their opponents.
