THE 2006 MTN All Stars Game will be played on Saturday July 1 at Lugogo Indoor Stadium, Kampala.
Local hoops governing body, the Federation of Uganda Basketball Association (Fuba) technical committee on Monday released a list of selected stars from all the three league divisions.
The players who make two teams of ten players each, were selected according to their performance during the MTN league first round games that ended on Sunday.
Fuba technical chairman Yunus Nkutu told Daily Monitor that there were a few changes in the date of the tournament.
"But it has been tentatively scheduled for Saturday and we do not expect any other changes," Nkutu said.
The Yello Max conference has Henry Malinga, Sam Obol, Isaac Afidra, Louis Habineza, Emma Baguma and Gulu's Denis Akena leading the East Pool while Steven Okias, Brian Gumisiriza, Mande Juruni, Wilbroa Okecho, Ronnie Kasewu, Chris Kyebambe and Alex Ochola make up the Western Pool.
The women stars include Viola Akuma, Betty Namukasa, Ali Mavita, Aisha Nalumansi, Joyce Zalwango, Charlene Kalungi and Carol Mugasha for the Western team while Becky Akullo, Agatha Baliddawa, Frances Nabulobi, Flavia Okecho, Florence Kalume, Carol Nantalo and Mariam Birungi are part of the second side.
Last year's edition was held at Uganda Christian University (UCU) Mukono. Meanwhile, Crane High takes on rivals Kabojja SS at Kitintale in the last Division 11 game.
