First place in the 2006 national basketball league is up for grabs today when Basketball United Generation takes on top guns ESPOIR at Lycee de Kigali at 3:00pm.

Both clubs (ESPOIR and BUG) are in second place with seven points each following last weekend’s victories over AGF and KIE respectively. BUG is desperate to win this encounter to try and loosen up the pressure being exerted from both ESPOIR and defending champions APR, both have seven points, one point behind table leaders Marine.
At Kacyiru, AGF entertain defending champions APR while UNR host ISAE in the ladies’ category.
In tomorrow’s fixture, the Marine side travels to Butare to face UNR while KIE host table leaders APR in the ladies’ category.
