ZAMBIA: NDH take on NAPSA Hurricanes
THE Zambia Basketball Association (ZBA) league enters week four with renamed Newspaper Direct Heroes taking on NAPSA Hurricanes in the match of the day.
Newspaper Direct, previously known as Heroes Play United, is a team well motivated by its new sponsorship from Newspapers Direct Limited.
Junior Hurricanes, a reserve team for NAPSA will play league debutants Lusaka Kings at the NASDEC in another league match.
Kings, comprising mostly players from the now defunct Hawks, already dropped vital points in their match against Barclays’ Magic on Saturday.
In the women’s league, UNZA Honeys take on double champions Nets in what could be a one-sided match.
Honeys struggled all the way through the season last year and could do the same this term if major changes are not made to the team.
Perennial rivals Green Buffaloes and Looteresses clash in another women’s match; a fixture whose result could determine who wins the league this season.
Buffaloes and Looteresses have been fighting neck to neck for the past few seasons with the occasional interference by Nets.
