UGANDA: A-1 keep winning
GULU based Hawks lost to defending champions Nkumba Marines 69-48 last weekend in the Yello-Max conference basketball league encounter.
The women’s champions A-1 Challenge also picked a 48-29 win over Crane High to keep a 100% record.
Bush Courts and Blue Jackets walked over Sky Jammers and No-Nem respectively who failed to show-up on Sunday.
In the Yello-Go Conference Knight riders did not spare Makerere Youth Heaters in a heated game that ended 60-57 with Riders winning. UCU and Flammers also won their games against Spena and FPAU. UCU bagged a 111-46 win, while Flammers picked a 48-42 win.
The Makerere Sparks beat Kyambogo Comets 59-24. Before we went to press, Sadolin Power was taking on Charging Rhino yesterday at the YMCA courts, together with KIU rangers and Lady Bucks.
