ZIMBABWE: Harare Teams for Gweru Tourney

HE Harare Basketball Association has finally managed to send all the four teams to the annual national inter-provincial tournament in Gweru tomorrow.
Two senior sides and two Under-22 teams are expected to leave the capital today for the two-day games.
The HBA had been struggling to raise funds for the tournament.
HBA secretary Taka Mubako said they had finally raised enough funds for transport and accommodation.
Ngoni Mukukula's Highdon Raiderz are dominating in the senior men's side as they have provided four players while Jewels contributed three players.
Taurai Chitsinde of Kingdom Cavaliers will captain the Under-22 side.

Levy Mwanza, Erinos Katsaruware, Mernard Masawi, Forward Mandizadza (Raiderz), Michael Banda, Tapiwa Mugunyana, Eric Banda (Jewels), Blessing Chidimu, Walter Mabhena (Cavaliers), Tanya Muganiwa, Steven Mudawarima (Pross), Kelvin Charumbira (UZ Stars), Sam Pararai (Black Rhinos), Innocent Sithole (South Central), Royce Takaendesa (Cameo), Andrew Chitauro (Celtics).
Under-22 men

Kundai Mhembere, Alexandria Maseko, Rachel Makoni, Rumbidzai Tazvivinga (Cameo), Isobel Tegunde, Mitchell Mutomba (Cavaliers), Alice Mandiveyi, Serina Chareka (Jewels), Cleopatra Rice (Hawks) Sinikiwe Bakasa, Margaret Kanyimo (Raiderz), Blessing Dube (Varsity), Kuda Garande (Stormers).
